Products for our proprietary website building platform include a visual webpage editor, form builder, billing system and more. Through increased UX/UI research and testing, website building went from 3 days to 4 hours, an 83% decrease in time to build websites.

Charged with building a powerhouse brand in the regional vacation rental market through research and value-added deliverables. The direct result was an increase in reservations of 30% as well as revenue increased from $4M to $6.2M in 2 years.

Top tier project included a newly designed website that, when launched, saw new user acquisition up by 15%, bounce rate drop by 12% and goal conversions go up 23%.

Provide ongoing support to multiple federal and state government contracts. One highlight includes developing an interactive marketing presentation that helped win a $2.2M project.

Creative Director | June 2008 – January 2010

Working directly with the company owner, I helped streamline business strategy of the Wine World Outlet template. We opened 5 new stores and a website that generated $12M in combined sales.

Sr. UX/UI Designer | July 2006 – June 2008

Highlight includes the design and development of an interactive history of a national historic site used to test weapons that helped turn the war in Europe during WWII. Awarded a best-in-class design award at the local advertising and marketing level.

I put my skills all on the line to help local organizations build compelling websites and products. One highlight involves a 5 year effort to concept, advocate, and fundraise for a community skatepark in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Working with the community and local government we break ground in early 2020 for this $525k concrete park.

Creative Director | June 2002 – March 2004

An early pioneer in retrofitting network devices on coax cable in homes and offices. At it’s peak we had products on store shelves in Best Buy and Office Depot. The company ultimately failed due to significant advancements in wireless technology.

Won multiple advertising and marketing awards for website design, TV commercials as well as a best-in-show for a Beatles-themed “South Bend Symphony Orchestra, Abbey Road” outdoor billboard.

This was my first real test in helping a technology start-up develop the product line’s brand. In a relatively short period of time, the company was acquired by Intel for over $120M.

A highlight includes working within the first generation of digital projectors on movie screens. This allowed us to offer new advertising products using motion graphics with audio.
